The process approach

Standard ISO 9001 proposes to consider going into business processes in order to improve the organization of customer satisfaction by meeting his demands.

That the company functioned effectively, it must identify the many related activities and to their management. An activity using resources, and managed in order to make possible the transformation of inputs (within cells) into outputs (outgoing elements) can be regarded as a process. Often the output from one process directly forms the input to the next process.

The use of a system of processes within an organization together, and the identification and interactions of these processes and their management can be considered as a "process approach".
The advantage of the process approach is the continuity of government (excerpt from ISO 9001).
A company in achieving its goals (within the stated Quality Policy ), allocates its own processes, given the importance of goals only. Moreover, separate processes during development and implementation of quality management system, the revision of targets (and once a year to do so will) vary. So, if your company in 2008, it was important to establish a process of "Production" in 2009 can distinguish the process of " Human Resources ", as Owing to the adjusted production can think of and social safeguards, advanced training, motivational mechanisms.

Processes are identified individually for each company. There are similar for many companies - a process of "Production" process "Procurement", the process of "Pre-production" and others. There are basic, there are auxiliary. And what are the most important at the moment chosen by the company.

The process itself is represented as a document (procedure, process map, to whom as convenient). For each process is formulated objective, is determined by a phased implementation (can be in the form of a matrix algorithm + responsibility) and responsibility as the designated leader, and implementing certain procedures of the process. And then monitored with a subsequent improvement process.
In this sense, the international standard, like the Russian GOST R ISO 9001 states - "The desired result is achieved more efficiently when activities and related resources are managed as a process."

Effective business you, gentlemen!
