INTRODUCTION
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies bodies). Work on the preparation International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject, which was created by a technical committee has the right to be represented on that committee. International governmental and nongovernmental organizations, liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in all areas of electrotechnical standardization.
International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules laid down in ISO / IEC Directives, Part 3.
The main task of technical committees is to prepare draft international standards. International Standards are supported by the technical committees are circulated to member bodies for voting. Publication as an International Standard requires approval by at least 75% of members taking part in the vote.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some elements of this International Standard may be the subject of patent rights. ISO shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
ISO 19011 was prepared jointly by Technical Committee ISO / TC 176 "Quality management and quality assurance" (subcommittee SC 3, "Supporting Technologies") and the Technical Committee ISO / TC 207 "Environmental Management" (subcommittee SC 2, "Environmental audits and related research in the field Environment ").
Present the first edition of ISO 19011 cancels and replaces ISO 10011-1:1990, ISO 10011-2:1991, ISO 1011-3:1991, ISO 14010:1996, ISO 14011:1996 and ISO 14012:1996.
