1 SCOPE
This International Standard contains recommendations that go beyond the requirements given in ISO 9001 , for consideration as the impact and effectiveness of quality management system and, consequently, the potential for improving the organization. Compared with the ISO 9001 goals aimed at customer satisfaction and product quality, expanded: they include stakeholder satisfaction and the organization.
This International Standard is applicable to the processes of the organization and, thus, quality management principles on which it is based, may be extended to the entire organization. Focus of this standard is focused on achieving continuous improvement, measured the degree of satisfaction of customers and other stakeholders.
This International Standard provides guidance and recommendations, but is not intended for certification or for use in contracts and regulations, or for use as a guide for the implementation of ISO 9001.
